ResourceShelf - Gary Price's site about finding information online Invisible Web - site about hidden resources SEO Books SEO Book - Aaron Wall's search related blog, which sells the most current SEO ebook. I try to update my ebook at least once a month so that it is perpetually current. My guide teaches both SEO and pay per click marketing. I am the person who paid to create this software. Search Engine Marketing - Mike Grehan's ebook about search engines. It is more about how search engines & search algorithms work than it is about how to do SEO. Search Engine Marketing Kit - Dan Thies's book about search engine marketing. His book is more business oriented and more geared toward selling services than mine or Mike's. It also does not have as many creative link strategies and the like as my ebook does, but has much more information about running a business. I have limited business running experience, but make up for it by doing good SEO :) Free PPC Guide - as a sample of my ebook I also give away the PPC chapter free of charge. The free chapter has affiliate links in it. My regular ebook should not have any affiliate links. Recommended SEO / SEM Services (these are not paid ads, but people in the SEO industry I know and trust) Stuntdubl - Todd Malicoat is one of the sharpest SEOs in the game. I hate to use that thinks outside of the box cliche, but, well, he does. WeBuildPages - Jim Boykin's full service search engine optimization firm. Smart Keywords - Frank Watson's full service web marketing firm. Focuses on pay per click management & organic SEO. WebGuerilla - I think Greg Boser is rather selective with what clients he is willing to take on, but I have yet to hear him speak without learning something from him. Therefore, he is old school. He is a site announcement expert. PR Web - press release service. SEO Conferences SEO Roadshow - Free once a year non-commercial bar meetings. They are free and uber cool...need an invite to go though. NFFC is cool. Search Engine Strategies - Geared more toward the marketing and advertertising professions, these are usually ran by Danny Sullivan of SearchEngineWatch. Host about 8 to 10 of them a year. about $1,700 for a 4 day conference (some local SES conferences are shorter and cheaper - also if you register early you save $100, and if you hunt you can usually find a coupon to save a couple dollars on the entry cost). WebmasterWorld Conference - Geared more toward the independant webmaster, these are hosted by Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld. Occurs about 2-3 times a year. about $500 to $1,000 for a 3 day conference (price depends on when you buy, which conference you attend, etc.). ThreadWatch Conference - Similar to SEO Roadshow, with much overlap in who attends. SEO / Webmaster Forums SearchEngineWatch and SearchGuild are my favorites. However some people like some forums more than others, so here is a list of many forums... Search Engine Watch Forums - Danny Sullivan's search related forums.
